Before you remove the hash from the bag let it drain very well, if you pull the bag tight over the bucket or trashcan it will suck air out from the vacuum effect (Similar to if you try to pull a full trash bag out of a trashcan) and this helps greatly with removing moisture. But if your air drying like in your case you dont want all this extra moisture cuz its just more water you have to dry out of the hash. One thing that mightve messed with you is you mightve seen alot of posts of people using freeze driers, which its more common to keep more water in the hash while pulling from the bags cuz its a bit easier to work with and get an even layer on the trays. You wanna wick out as much of the water as possible before freezing or else it can be a pain to get out after and when you try to seive it it will get gummy very fast.
